Product Description
An <em>XLPE Cable</em> is a cross-linked polyethylene-insulated aluminum conductor armored cable. To provide a smooth conductor surface and prevent the formation of cavities at the conductor's surface when the cable is bent, the stranded aluminum conductor in XLPE wire cable is initially screened in the form of a semi-conducting extrusion. Extruded <ins>Construction Of XLPE Cable</ins> is used to insulate the screened conductor. An additional layer of nonmetallic semiconducting material is used to screen the insulation before a non-magnetic metallic screen made of copper or aluminum tape is put on top. Single-core <a href="https://mayoworld.com/both-armored-unarmored-aluminum-cross-linked-xlpe-cables-1534">XLPE Cable Specification</a> is up to 1000 sq mm and multi-core is up to 400 sq mm. The key aspect of <strong>XLPE Cables</strong> insulation is that long molecular chains of polyethylene are cross-connected to one another via a process similar to rubber vulcanization, resulting in a three-dimensional network structure with strong bonds. Pure polyethylene is a thermoplastic substance, which means it softens and plasticizes when heated and hardens when cooled.
